Additional Notes & Condition Report
each porcelain body appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, with the exception of one lamp, which has a large area of loss to the glaze and surface, located at the top of the ankle area; the chain swags are secured in place with four opposed small screws; some of the original screws are now missing; parts of the chain swag are now drooped because the corresponding screw is missing; suitable replacement screws should address this matter; each lamp has four blossom-form rosettes that adorn the foot of each lamp; one of these rosettes is now missing; typical wear to gilding, consistent with age and usage; each lamp is currently wired, however, neither lamp was tested; the plugs are European (three thin round prongs); the light socket is small and is for European bulbs (will need to be substituted for use with traditional type bulbs); not blacklighted
