Berlin: Nierendorf, 1924. Publisher's wrappers. small losses. 101/8 x 7 1/8 inches (26 x 18 cm); [2], 23 plates (the cover counts as the first plate). Cover chipped with loss at lower right, spine frayed. Bookplate of William P. Moore.
The images are taken from Dix's great series of war etchings, among the most ghastly and explicit to emerge from WWI.
