Louis XVI Gilt-Metal Mounted Inlaid Tulipwood Bureau Plat stamped G. Dester
Circa 1775
The leather-lined rectangular top above a pair of beaded frieze drawers opposed by dummer drawers, raised on tapering square legs headed by collars and ending in sabots; the underside stamped 'G. DESTER' and 'JME. Height 29 inches (73.7 cm), width 42 inches (106.7 cm), depth 26 inches (66 cm).
