Thence by descent to the present New York estate
Lady Elizabeth Butler, daughter of the Earl of Ossery, married the 9th Earl of Derby in 1636.

Glue relined. Repaired 3-inch vertical tear in the tree in the upper right quadrant, roughly 4 inches below the upper edge. Shadows in the drapery and some contours reinforced. A few spots of restoration elsewhere.
