Cast from a model by Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski, early 20th century
Modeled in a standing pose, in the nude, rising out of the water with bent knee and pouring water out of a seashell, mounted on a marble base, inscribed Paul Kowalczewski and Berlin. Height overall 16 inches.

appears to be in good, undamaged condition; the sculpture now has a uniformly dulled appearance/patina; may originally have had a gilt patina, not now; faint separation/join seam lines are becoming ever so visible at each of the shoulder junctures; small chip losses to the corners of the marble base; height of figure (excluding base): 14 3/4 inches
