Venetian Desk Lamp Base: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; wear to gilding, most notably to the four horizontal C-shaped arms and light sockets, however, also elsewhere, consistent with age, usage and handling; the lamp base appears to retain its original button-shaped on/off light switch; the lamp base stands nice and straight; sockets appear to have some age, however, the liner sleeves are made of white plastic not white porcelain; the ball finial at the top of the lamp is a later replacement; the lamp base is currently wired with a replacement cord; the wiring and light sockets were not tested
Green Lamp Shade: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; precise hardstone type is not know, however, it could possibly be serpentine
