appears to be in generally good, slightly damaged condition; there are scattered small nicks to the outer rim edge of the cover, not of great consequence; the handle is secured nice and tight, however, there is evidence of a very faint small hairline crack to the wood at the top terminal end (appears to be stable and not a cause of concern); there is a small dent to the bottom of the body, located at the rear side beneath the handle terminal (it extends across three of the ribs); there is stain residue to the interior side, primarily at the very bottom; handle appears to be made of rosewood
