Puzzle Dress

In its original cylindrical cardboard container with a sheet metal swivel handle, comprising 250 individual white, black and red colored vinyl puzzle pieces. Length of most puzzle pieces 2 3/4 inches, width 2 5/8 inches; height of container 11 1/2 inches, diameter 5 inches.
Note: Doyle sold one of these extremely rare Robe K puzzle dresses consisting of approximately 250 chocolate brown colored vinyl pieces, April 9, 2003, lot 554. More recently, another rare Robe K dress comprised of approximately 348 black and white puzzle pieces was sold at Kerry Taylor Auctions, London, United Kingdom, June 15, 2021, lot 428. An all-white version of this dress is in the collection of the Design Museum, in Brussels.

Additional Notes & Condition Report
Dress was not assembled for cataloging or photography purposes; there are approximately 223 pieces; some pieces have some slight stain discoloration; some pieces slightly bent or curled from being stored inside storage; most slits on the individual puzzle pieces appear to be in original unused condition, suggesting the dress was never assembled
white colored pieces: 202 (198 of square shape with two "head" protrusions; 2 plain small triangular shape; and 2 triangular with two "head" protrusions
black colored pieces: 20
red colored pieces: 1
Cardboard Container: bends and dents to metal handle; breaks/damage to top rim; typical scuffs to exterior; etc.
