Comprising Richard Avedon: Made in France. San Francisco, CA: Fraenkel Gallery, 2001. First edition, limited to 5,000 copies, a presentation copy by Avedon (inscription on the colophon page) to a well-known bookseller. Publisher's boards with cloth spine, in a custom chemise and leather-backed boards. Fine; BALDWIN, JAMES and AVEDON, RICHARD. Nothing Personal. New York: Atheneum, 1964. First edition. Publisher's boards in slipcase. Slight toning, a near-fine copy; and An Autobiography. New York: Random House/Eastman Kodak, [1993]. Stated first edition, with a very fine inscription to Elaine Kaufman from Avedon quoting Henry IV, part II. Publisher's cloth lettered in red, in original printed acetate jacket. About fine, though lower fore-corner of cover slightly damaged.
The last of these three Avedon items was sold in Doyle's rooms in the sale of the estate of Elaine Kaufman in 2011.
