Philadelphia: 26 October 1802. Manuscript in ink on an oblong slip in the hand of Henry Clymer promising to pay George Clymer twelve hundred and twenty five dollars. Signed twice by both George Clymer and Henry Clymer on the recto and verso of the document. 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches (9 x 21 cm). Edges toned, some showthrough from ink on verso.

George Clymer is one of six signers of both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
