[CIVIL WAR--CONFEDERATE] 1861 Virginia Presidential Election Ballot.
Printed ballot for the 1861 Confederate Virginia election of Jefferson Davis for President, Alexander Stephens for Vice President, and other electorates, dated 6 November 1861. 6 1/8 x 4 inches (16 x 10 cm). Folds, small puncture at center and two stray ink marks, an indistinct ink signature to verso.

In 1861, Jefferson Davis and Alexander Stephens ran unopposed for President & Vice President of the Confederate States and won unanimously. Other ballots we trace bear a similar cancel puncture at center and the ink name of the voter on the verso.
