LINCOLN, ABRAHAM Discharge note signed.
[Washington:] 6 February 1865. Autograph note on a slip of paper, "Let this man take the oath of Dec, 8 1863 & be discharged" signed and dated "A. Lincoln Feb 6 1865." 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches (6 x 9 cm); double framed a with a large pencil signed lithograph portrait of Lincoln by S. J. Woolf. The overall frame dimensions 23 x 22 x 2 inches. Slight smudge to a few letters, ink somewhat faint at end of signature and date.
