Washington: Tippin & Streeper, 1848. Senate issue. Disbound. 9 x 5 1/2 inches (23 x 14 cm); 141 pp., with three folding maps. Title stained, one map split along folds within the image and detached, creases, sold with all faults; Together with HUGHES, JOHN T. Doniphan's Expedition; Containing an Account of the Conquest of New Mexico; General Kearney's Overland Expedition to California... Cincinnati: James, 1848. Second edition. Disbound. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (22 x 14 cm); with one frontispiece, in text woodcut illustration and battle plans, lacks maps and second frontispiece. Spotting, sold with all faults.
