Islamic manuscript on polished paper written circa 1846 in a fine cursive Shekasteh Nasta'liq hand, possibly by Mohamed Esmael el-Hosseini. Morocco edged cloth (now lacking the panels). 10 x 6 1/4 inches (25 x 16 cm); 51 ff. of text on polished paper with an elaborated carpet page, all pages written in gilt borders, the final two extensively gilt. The binding lacking the cloth panels as noted, some soiling, old stamp in Arabic on verso of final blank leaf.
