Publisher's pictorially gilt green cloth, beveled boards, all edges gilt. 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches; [4], 182 pp., frontispiece and twenty plates consisting of pasted down sepia-tone photographs by Russell Sedgfield and Frank M. Good, extra-illustrated with engravings and clipped illustrations pasted to versos of some of the plates, 2 pp. publisher's ads at rear. Light edgewear, spine ends worn with some short tears, text block a bit loose but holding soundly, overopened in two places.

An early photographically illustrated guide book and history of The Isle of Wight.
