the stopper on the decanter appears to be an authentic original St. Louis stopper and appropriate for this decanter, however, it may be a later replacement (it is numbered "3" but there is no corresponding (or any) number inscribed on the underside of the bottle); the stopper sits well into the neck of the bottle; all rims appear to be in generally good condition, with no apparent chips on rims; everything marked on the bottom, except for the 1 small sherry glass by a different maker
