One cushion-shaped alexandrite of brownish green to brown-pink hues weighing 5.40 cts., 10 French-cut diamonds ap. .20 ct., signed J.E.C. & Co., no. M3626, partially obscured, c. 1920. Size 6 3/4. With signed box.
With AGL report no. 1122013 stating Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, with no gemological evidence of enhancement. Degree of Color-Change: Prominent to Strong (80-90%) Quality of Color Change: Very Good.

Alexandrite: medium deep very slightly brownish green to brown-pink, spray of liquid-filled inclusions to one corner, otherwise cleanish, light abrasions and several small chips to table edge and several facet junctions, slightly off-symmetry, deep pavilion, lively.
Diamonds: H-I-VS.
