Philadelphia: Institute of Contemporary Art, 17 April - 1 June 1964. Exhibition catalogue in original wrappers. 11 x 8 1/2 inches (28 x 22 cm); photographically illustrated. Light toning and a few small stains to covers, internally fine.

The rare catalogue for this seminal exhibition which featured works by John Chamberlain, Burgoyne Diller, Hans Hofmann, Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Marisol, Robert Morris, Jules Olitski, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, George Segal, George Sugarman and Frank Stella. Andy Warhol was represented by Orange Disaster, reproduced in the book, a painting comprising fifteen repeating electric chairs. Warhol also exhibited a portraits of Jacqueline Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. Roy Lichtenstein showed his Drowning Girl, with its famous caption "I don't care! I'd rather sink than call Brad for help!"
