Andy Warhol Muhammad Ali poster signed by Ali.
Color poster, 1978, signed "Muhammad Ali" in gold at center under the chin, with "Andy Warhol Enterprises" at lower right. 24 x 30 inches (76.5 x 61 cm); framed. A small abraded area in the far right of the text area, a few visible scratches, not examined out of frame.

Muhammad Ali visited Andy Warhol in 1977 to be included in his Athletes Series. The portrait is one of the best of Ali: it is active, his eyes pierce, the red screams. This poster edition from 1978 is rarely encountered signed by Ali, particularly in his distinctive gold ink.
