Black cloth, printed dust jacket, housed in a gray cloth clamshell case. 11 1/2 x 9 5/8 inches; 629, [2] pp., illustrated. A few spots of wear to bottom edge of boards, minor wear to dust jacket at extremities and folds with two scuffs to front panel and a faint stain to rear, altogether in excellent condition for such a hefty oversized book.
The catalogue from Robert Rauschenberg's landmark Guggenheim retrospective, with essays by Trisha Brown, Ruth E. Fine, Billy Kluver with Julie Martin, Rosalind Krauss, Steve Paxton, Nancy Spector and Charles F. Stuckey, inscribed to the artist's longtime friend Brigid Berlin.
