Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel were a married mid-century Danish design couple whose most famous furniture product is the Hanging Egg chair. They began designing for Jensen in 1954. After her husband's passing in 1961, Nanna continued producing for Jensen, becoming the first solo female designer for the firm. She was known for her innovative and architectural shapes.
