circa 1900. Arrowroot print or Aristotype, image 8 1/2 x 7 inches (220 x 180 mm), titled and annotated on verso in pencil, apparently in Atget's hand, together with the plate number 4235. A well-toned example.
The faint image of a standing figure, blurred by long exposure, is visible at the left.
