[FORE-EDGE PAINTINGS] Group of seven volumes, all with fine concealed fore-edge paintings.
Leather bindings, gilt or gilt and blind. Each fore-edge concealed under gilt, the largest volume 6 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches (16 x 10 cm); various paginations. Front and back joints now separated on one work, else light wear.

The fore-edges include an unidentified country house view; a lake view; the view from Richmond Terrace; a bridge in a country town; St. Peter's, Rome (rear cover detached); Portsmouth; and a view of a harbor (possibly also Portsmouth, and en suite with the previous).
