Includes A herbarium of sea mosses. No place, no date, but Massachusetts, 1850s. Dark green pebble-grained leather, all edges green. 8 3/8 x 6 3/4 inches (21.5 x 17.5 cm); approximately 55 ff. of green cartridge paper, each with one or more corner-mounted specimens of sea mosses, most identified with location and species, a few dated. Light binding wear, one specimen possibly missing, a couple unmounted; Sea Mosses. [Cover title]. Red cloth lettered as above in gilt. 9 x 5 7/8 inches (22.75 x 15 cm); approximately 20 ff. tan card, each with two mounted specimens, unidentified. Light wear; and Flora Alpina de St. Moritz. [Cover title] St. Moritz: 1860s? Green cloth, upper cover titled as noted. 7 1/4 x 9 inches (18.5 x 23 cm); approximately 15 ff. with mounted alpine plant specimens. Light binding wear, expected offsetting from specimens.
