Glue relined. Scattered restoration to the face. The is a repaired 14-inch tear running diagonnally upward and to the right from the sitter's right shoulder (at the lower left of the picture), passing through the lower right corner of the sitter's chin. The composition appears to have once been octagonal, with the four corners of the present rectangular work added later.
