Glue relined. Loss to the paint surface near the lower edge in the center foreground; a small chip loss approximately 4 inches to the left of this. Scattered areas of restoration in the sky. Dense varnish layer; difficult to interpret under UV light. The figures are possibly by a hand other than the artist who painted the landscape
