New York: Harrison Smith & Robert Haas, 1935. First edition, number 28 of 310 copies signed by Faulkner. Publisher's three-quarter cloth over reflective silver boards stamped with an airplane on the upper cover, with the printed card slipcase.7 1/2 x 5 inches (19 x 13 cm); 315 pp., folding manuscript facsimile at front, plane illustration to title page. The spine faded and with a few stains, two small abraded areas on the board, with the Art Deco label of the Stanley Rose Bookshop at rear, the slipcase complete but with detached panels and wear.
