Mounted on a portor marble base, inscribed Le Faguays. Height overall 12 1/2 inches.
This lot is accompanied by a receipt from the American Consulate General, Paris, France, dated 11 April, 1928.

Bronze Figure: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there is wear/rubbing to the patina, with patchy areas, most notably to the front side; also, there is an overall dulled appearance to the patina, commensurate with age and handling; the patina on the reverse side shows a fair bit of loss, most notably in the areas of the figure's legs; the reverse side also has a very dulled appearance
Marble Base: there are some scattered rim chips and small flake losses, commensurate with age and handling
