[JAMAICA] TRELAWNY, EDWARD, Governor. Will document signed.
Jamaica: circa 5 March 1740. Party printed document accomplished in manuscript certifying the will of Peter Snee, signed at the foot "Edw. Trelawny," loosely attached to a manuscript copy of Snee's will with the original ribbon, all housed in a folding cloth case. The verso of the document secured with modern paper, the ribbon broken at places, other wear to extremities, the case with the bookplate of Aaron Matalon.

A rare signed document from Edward Trelawny, Governor of Jamaica from 1738 to 1752.
