Two color woodcuts, 1939 and 1948, respectively, on watermarked handmade paper, signed in pencil, the first with the Tea Jar seal, carved by Kentaro Maeda, printed by Fusakichi Ogawa, the second with the Owl seal, carved by Kentaro Maeda, printed by Tetsunosuke Honda, each with elaborate PJ stamp verso, with full margins, unframed; Together with Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956) CHINESE ACTOR; SHIGEYAMA, KYOGEN ACTOR IN 'SAN-BA-SO', KYOTO, two color woodcuts, 1924 and 1936, respectively, signed, the first titled, in pencil, with full margins, unframed. Additional Notes & Condition Report

The first with pale lightstain and matain, some other pale discoloration in the margins and verso, the third and fourth with timestain or lightstain and matstain, the third with some unobtrusive rubbing in the image, some creasing in the margins including at title, a few pinholes in the top margin (some with associated pressure marks), minor soiling in the margins, some light abrasion in the top margin. some old brown paper tape at and near sheet edges, some old glue residue at top right sheet corner recto, two areas of gluestaining verso, the fourth with minor foxing and soiling in the margins.
