[Seattle]: Lowman & Hanford Co., 1924 [but apparently 1925, from copyright]. First edition. Publisher's green flexible leather gilt, marbled endpapers (this possibly a deluxe issue, rather than the more commonly found green cloth). 7 7/8 x 5 3/8 inches (20 x 13.5 cm); 90 pp.; plates after photographs throughout, marginal decorations of animal heads interspersed. Minor foxing to plates and adjacent leaves, but about fine.

The first book by this enthusiastic bear hunter, in the form of a letter to his sister.
