Cartier Purple Guilloché Enamel and Lavender Chalcedony Miniature Desk Clock
Mechanical, stem-wind and stem-set, circular white porcelain dial, black Arabic numerals, silver and rose-cut diamond ornate hands, outer minute indicator chapter ring, dial diameter ap. 25 mm., white enamel dot bezel, purple guilloché enamel case with outer white enamel edge, reverse with one rose-cut diamond, case diameter ap. 48 mm., atop a lavender chalcedony platform with two cylinders flanking clock, dial signed Cartier, movement unsigned, circa 1920, minor enamel loss. Case diameter 1 7/8 inches. 2 x 2 9/16 x 15/16 inches.

Surface chip and hairline crack on outer white enamel border.
Several minor chips on edge of top side panel of purple enamel.
Chalcedony: translucent, good luster.
