Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Majolica Green-Ground Seal-Molded Ice-Cream Tray and Two Matching Dessert Plates

Rectangular, the center molded as breaking waves with three seals swimming among seaweed, the icy rim with two recumbent seals, the side mottled in brown, green and ochre, impressed uppercase mark, painted pattern no. M2831. Width of tray 17 inches, depth 8 3/4 inches; diameter of plates 7 3/8 inches.
