George Jones Majolica 'Indian' Turquoise-Ground Garden Seat
Recorded as shape no. 3380, circa 1875
Of barrel shape, the sides molded in relief with dragonflies in flight and birds perched among bulrushes and water-lilies, the pierced top and foot molded as faux woven rushes, impressed GJ monogram mark and cyphers IV and :., and registry diamond 9-U-E-3 for 9 May 1874. Height 18 inches.
