Recorded as shape no. 3207, circa 1872
Naturalistically modeled as a lion, lioness and adder beneath a palm tree, the circular mound base embossed AFRICA and with impressed registry diamond (16-I-G-7) for 16 February 1872. Height 10 7/8 inches, diameter 10 1/8 inches.
One of a set of Four Continents, including: Europe, America and Asia.
