Minton Majolica 'Shell Bearer' Centerpiece
Designed by Albert Carrier Belleuse, shape no. 1182, date cypher for 1865
Modeled as two nereids supporting a large shell suspended from garlands, on an oval base, impressed uppercase mark, three small cyphers and shape number. Height 10 3/4 inches, width 18 inches.
