NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle held a successful auction of Photographs on June 21, 2023. The sale showcased iconic images by some of the most renowned names in the history of photography, spanning the early period of the medium up to the present day.

Highlights included Laetitia Casta, Clifton Point, [Rhinebeck, New York (Nude #6)] from 1999 by Annie Leibovitz that soared over its estimate of $700-1,000 to achieve a stunning $9,450. Also performing exceptionally well was Sheila Metzner’s Uma, Patou Dress, 1986, from the collection of J.I. Kislak, Inc., that realized $7,560, far exceeding its estimate of $800-1,200.

The June 21 auction also showcases Post-War and Contemporary paintings, prints and sculpture comprising lots 632-753.
