Pair of Classical Inlaid and Carved Mahogany Fold-Over Card Tables
Philadelphia, School of Ephraim Haines and Henry Connelly, circa 1820
Each shaped top with radiating veneers rotates above a well and conforming apron with turned acorn pendants on a lyre-shaped dolphin carved support, all on acanthus carved paneled legs ending in brass hairy paw cap casters. Each table bears an old jelly label that indistinctly read "Belonged to Anne Burk..." Height 30 1/2 inches, width 35 3/4 inches, depth 17 7/8 inches.
