New York: Limited Editions Club, 1987. Copy 443 from an edition of 750 (out of a total edition of 820), signed on the colophon by both Robert Motherwell and Octavio Paz. Publisher's natural Irish linen over heavy boards, original matching clamshell box. 21 3/8 x 17 1/8 inches (54.5 x 45 cm); unpaginated text with 27 original mounted lithographs by Motherwell, including an original lithograph inset on the front cover of the book. Some bumping to the case, the book itself fine.

The book was handset in Bauer Bodoni and printed at the Stamperia Valdonega in Verona. Each of the 27 lithographs by Robert Motherwell was produced at Trestle Editions in New York using handmade Japanese paper, and hand-mounted upon the Magnani mould-made paper also used for the text. The text is bilingual, the Spanish printed in red, with English translation of the poems printed in black on facing pages. Belknap 354-380.
