This copy I, one of ten of the roman numbered copies with two additional suites of the plates, one on blue paper and one on cream paper (the papier ocré of the colophon), both housed in separate sleeves. The text volume in publisher's wrappers on slipcase and chemise, with the two suites housed in matching portfolio-style sleeves. 11 x 8 inches (27 x 20 cm); 226, [2] pp., with 23 etched plates by Georges Rouault in etching and aquatint, signed in the plate, and 7 pp. music; the suites with 23 plates each. Very minor wear, a near fine set, and quite rare in this deluxe form.
