The box with maker's mark EB, Moscow, 1878; the purse with maker's mark Cyrillic FA, Moscow, before 1883
The box rectangular with a hinged cover engraved with an architectural view, the purse rectangular with rounded corners, the cover engraved with a horseman and two hounds, the base with a view of an izba, with a fitted interior. Length of box 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm), total approximately 5.9 ounces (185 grams).
