Workmaster August Holmström, St. Petersburg, circa 1900
Rectangular with rounded corners, enameled in translucent steel blue over a sunburst engine-turned ground, one corner of the cover applied with a diamond-set star, with a diamond push-piece. Length 3 7/8 inches (9.84 cm).

Damage and losses to enamel on corners, of both halves of case. Brownish discoloration and flaking around damaged areas, apparently from clear coating.
