Luc.2.34 (This is set up . . . as a sign which shall be spoken against. Luke 2:34); Inveni quem diligit anima mea; tenui eum, nec dimittam: Cant. 39.4 (I found him who delights my soul; I held him, [and] shall not let him go. Song of Solomon 3:4)

Glue relined. Area of restoration in the upper left corner. Scattered touches elsewhere. Some paint lifting. Some repaired tears of various sizs. Some very small spatters of white on the Virgin's skirt and the cloak draped over her knees. .
