Possibly Vermont, late 19th century
The flattened full-body form on a wrought iron post with weathered pine spheres above iron scrollwork, all on custom stand. Height overall 6 feet 2 inches, length 28 inches, rooster height 24 1/2 inches.
Provenance: Reportedly originally topped the spire of an Episcopal church in Westminster, Vermont.
