, circa 1850-1860. A rare waxed paper negative (patented Talbotype/calotype), 9 1/2 x 13 inches (240 x 330 mm) including margins, the verso with Griffith's signature, plate number and title in ink. Marginal tears just entering the image on the lower margin.
