The overall pattern of polychrome medallions on the charcoal field is within a caramel border. Approximately 17 feet 4 inches x 10 feet 5 inches.
Reduced in size, minor moth damage, small spot stains.

Provenance:
Michaelian and Kohlberg, Inc., New York

This carpet is also a hand stiched wool needlepoint with 100 stitches per square inch. The maker used a variety of design influences for this carpet including neoclassical geometric organization and Moorish stars and crosses all in a balanced color palette.
