Ivory Satin Court Dress and Train
French, circa 1926
The sleeveless chemise with low round neck embroidered with allover pattern of flowers around central long-stemmed blossom, the design worked in pearls, rhinestones and gold beads, fur at lower back hem and sides, with long ivory velvet shoulder train embroiderd in beads and rhinestones, size 8.
Excellent condition.
The wearer the dress was an American who was presented to the English court.
