Drecoll Black Velvet Ball Gown
Austrian/French, circa 1903
The top portion and sleeves of the pouched velvet bodice black lace, the sleeves puffed, with flounce to elbow, the skirt velvet, sewn in godets at top that release into fullness at knee level, with moderate train, each piece decorated with floral and ribbon motifs worked in black sequins, waist 29 inches, labeled: Drecoll/Paris/Vienne/Modele Depose.
Very good condition, waist belt missing.
