Two Cotton Empire Garments
American, circa 1810
The first a self striped white cotton morning dress buttoning from neck to high waist, with wide round ruffled collar, ruffles repeated at all edges, the second a dress of sprig embroidered white mull, with square drawstring neckline, short puffed sleeves and long tapered undersleeves with puff at bottom, deep hem, under bust measurements of each 32 inches.
Each very good condition.
