Monogram canvas, LV stamped leather trim, wood bands, brass corners and locks, perpendicular black stripes outlined in yellow crossing at center top, monogram RFH/New York on sides, multiple steamer and customs labels, including Grace and Matson Lines, lock no. 102374, linen interior, hinged top tray attaching to interior top lid with straps, separate webbed linen container 18 inches x 37 inches, interior labeled: Louis Vuitton/Paris/London/Nice/ Cannes/Vichy with addresses, no. 799294. Height 30 inches, width 39 inches, depth 21 3/4 inches.
Good condition, shows general use and wear, some cracking to varnish, worn areas on leather bands, side leather handles missing, interior very good condition.
The trunk was originally owned by Carl Holmes.
